I was picked up from beachside hotel by my driver/guide Ben. His English was good as was his driving.
As per itinerary, we visited the Linh Phuoc Pagoda which is amazing. An early lunch consisting of beef pho at Bun Bo Hue which was delicious. Some more touring and fun at the alpine coaster.
Second lunch was a Vietnamese pizza at Bánh Tráng nướng Dì Đinh. Yum!
A good day was had with Long happily modifying the tour to suit my interests.
My friend recommended us this 3-day trip to see north-east of Vietnam after he finished the trip with Azotar Travel . And we cant agree more about the trip because it was so incredible. The waterfall is so beautiful and located at a unique place right on the border between Vietnam and China. Our boat ride to get a close look at the waterfall really took our breath away, sooooo funny :)))). We love Ba Be lake as well. The accommodation at Tay homestay by the lake was also awesome. We got up early in the morning and felt very happy when we saw the sun rising from the lake and the mountain.
Bai Tu Long Bay is very beautiful and much quieter than Halong Bay. We really enjoyed the cruise, the peaceful scenery and kayaking. A nice place to relax and enjoy nature away from the crowds.

Stunning views, but bring patience
I did Ma Pi Leng Pass on a motorbike and honestly the views were unreal. The limestone cliffs and the deep green valley below kept changing as we rode, and there were a few spots where I just had to stop and stare. The air felt cooler up there, and after a light rain the road had that fresh wet-earth smell. It’s absolutely worth seeing, but be ready for traffic, lots of curves, and sections that can feel a bit hectic if you’re not used to mountain roads. I’d still recommend it, just not as a rushed day trip. Give yourself time and don’t skip the viewpoints.
