Admire the majestic scenery on top of Fansipan, the highest place in Vietnam

Fansipan is the highest mountain in Vietnam, known as the “Roof of Indochina” in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, about 9km southwest of Sa Pa town. This is an ideal destination, suitable for those who love to explore nature, love adventure and want to conquer the towering “roof”.

Coming to Fansipan, you will not be able to escape the feeling of excitement, immersion, and desire to conquer the towering mountain peak in the sky. With a fresh, pleasant atmosphere, Fansipan takes visitors away from the hustle and bustle, immersing them in the majestic, poetic natural scenery.

Ha Long Bay, first of all, we must talk about the magical beauty of the mountains, water, clouds and sky here.

Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh) is a name that is very familiar to domestic and international friends, so it is not surprising that recently the American Business Insider page introduced an article about the famous landscape of Vietnam with the title: “See why Ha Long Bay is one of the most beautiful destinations in the world” and the British Global grasshopper page ranked Ha Long Bay as one of the 10 most beautiful destinations on the planet in 2015. So why does Ha Long Bay have such a strange attraction?

1. BEAUTY LIKE A FAIRY TALE

Located about 165km from Hanoi, Ha Long Bay is located off the northeastern coast of Vietnam, with about 2,000 islands and limestone outcrops of various shapes and sizes, rising above the calm, clear blue sea. The surrounding air is often covered in mist, which contributes to the mystery of this place.

In addition, Ha Long Bay is also a place with high biodiversity with typical ecosystems and thousands of extremely rich and diverse species of flora and fauna. This place is also associated with the heroic cultural and historical values of the nation.

The name Ha Long Bay can be understood as “Where the dragon landed”. According to local legend, in the beginning, the Jade Emperor sent a mother dragon with her baby dragons to help the Vietnamese people fight the enemy. The dragon breathed fire and burned enemy ships, the dragon spat out pearls and built towering stone walls on the sea, and if an enemy ship crashed into them, they would break apart…

The mission was completed, but because of nostalgia for the peaceful scenery, lush trees, and hard-working and kind people, the mother and daughter dragons stayed on earth to protect the Vietnamese people. The sea where the mother dragon landed was called Ha Long, the place where the baby dragon landed was called Bai Tu Long, and the place where the dragon’s tail splashed white water was Bach Long Vi, which is today’s Tra Co peninsula.

With an interesting story and witnessing the scenery of Ha Long Bay, there is no reason why people do not love this new wonder of the world. Even those who have not been there, when hearing the story, will be curious about the beauty coming from the vivid and magical legend of Vietnam.

2. BEAUTIFUL INTERSECTED STONE ISLAND STRUCTURE

Ha Long Bay stands out with a beautiful system of stone islands with two types: limestone islands and schist islands, concentrated in two main areas: the southeast of Bai Tu Long Bay and the southwest of Ha Long Bay. Through the process of erosion and weathering, Ha Long has become a unique place in the world.

Hundreds of rock islands in Ha Long are of various shapes and sizes, including Dinh Huong Island, Dua Island, Yen Ngua Island, Rong Island, La Vong Island, Canh Buom Island, Trong Mai Island, Lu Huong Island… or Monkey Island, Tuan Chau Island…

In particular, Bai Tho Mountain, 106m high, next to Hon Gai town, is a quite attractive place for young people who love mountain climbing. Standing halfway up the mountain, looking far away is the blue sea, undulating rocky islands, floating clouds and surrounded by grass, trees, flowers, birds…

3. FORMATION OF MANY ATTRACTIVE CAVES AND BEACHES

Hidden in the heart of the rocky islands are beautiful caves associated with many magical legends such as Thien Cung Cave, Tam Cung Cave, Dau Go Cave, Sung Sot Cave, Trinh Nu Cave – Trong Cave, Hanh Cave… Each cave has its own beauty, mysterious and magical, making visitors go from one surprise to another on their journey of discovery.

The most famous beach in Ha Long is probably Bai Chay – a resort with year-round sea breezes, with an average annual temperature of over 20 degrees Celsius. This is a low hill range running gently towards the sea, stretching more than 2km along ancient pine trees, interspersed with high-rise hotels and small villas with distinct architecture. Bai Chay also cannot lack the white sand strip along the asphalt road and the cool green casuarina trees.

4. CUA VAN FISHING VILLAGE

Cua Van fishing village is located in a calm sea area, surrounded by rocky mountains called Va Gia – Cua Van. This is also a world natural heritage site recognized by UNESCO twice, a place not to be missed when coming to Ha Long Bay, especially when Cua Van is in the Top 10 most beautiful coastal fishing villages or Top 10 most mysterious towns in the world.

The beauty of the oldest fishing village in Vietnam is reflected in its inherent simplicity, with anchored boats, simple and honest people, carefree children playing, and traditional boat songs of fishermen…

Exploring Ha Long Bay, whether by luxury cruise, wooden boat, boat or kayak, will help you have memorable moments in this vast land and sky. Perhaps the reasons above are not enough, the best way is to come to Ha Long, explore, experience “with your own eyes and hands” to find the most accurate answer for yourself.
